This 1978 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser was found stored in a garage for the past 5 years and delivered to Freeborn Customs where it went through a frame-on restoration, and received a ton of upgrades. The body was sanded to bare metal then epoxy primed, sanded, re-primed, sealed, then a base coat clear coat paint was applied. The engine has been replaced with a GM crate 350 and a rebuilt 4-speed transmission. Additional features include front disc brakes, custom interior, stereo system, and new tires and wheels. It has full steel doors, fold down or removable soft-top, and the original transfer-driven winch has new line installed. It is a great driving summertime convertible or excellent off-road winter rig that is built tough and goes just about anywhere. This is a nice example of an original SUV that has been upgraded to modern driving standards, making it one of the best all-around sport utility vehicles in the market. Located in White,SD.
